Kajol began her career at the young age of seventeen with the 1992 film "Bekhudi." The next year, she shot to fame with "Baazigar," opposite Shahrukh Khan. She later went on to have great on screen chemistry with Khan, pairing with him in a number of box office successes. She won the BFJA Best Actress Award for her performance in the box-office failure, "Udhaar Ki Zindagi." She earned her first Filmfare Best Actress nomination for her performance in the romantic drama "Yeh Dillagi." Kajol received her first Filmfare Best Actress Award for "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" in 1995. She became the first woman to win the Filmfare Best Villain Award in 1997 for her performance in "Gupt: The Hidden Truth." In 1998, she won her first Star Screen Award Best Actress for "Dushman" and her second Filmfare Best Actress Award for "Kush Kush Hota Hai." In 1999, she married actor Ajay Devgan.
