Gurtej Singh Gill, best known for his stage name Tej Gill is a well known name in the Punjabi music industry. He is a staple in the game labelled The Lyrical King" for his versatility and style in singing and lyricism.
Background
Born in the village of Kaonke Kalan (India, Punjab); Tej started singing at the early age of 10. His passion for the art has kept him inspired and since moving to Canada in 94 he has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. Unlike a lot of singers; Tej is not classically trained but naturally gifted. Through years of practice he has developed a voice like no other and really understands the essence of good song writing and this can be heard through his music through the years. His career took off in India with the hit "Aaja Chan Mahiya" (Prod by Téjwant Kittu) in '04, leading him to work with producers such as Untouchables UK, RDB, EMC, soe and XD Pro Music. łej Gill's catalogue includes top hits such as "Tere Mere" (Prod. by RDB), "Kuriye Panjab Diye" (Prod.
